When being photographed, it’s always best to use matte (flat) colors that don’t have any sparkle or shimmer. This will prevent the camera flash from reflecting light off your face, creating an oily look, rather than a natural one.

 

• Apply Make-Up in Natural LightAs indoor lighting can be misleading when applying make-up, the best results come from using natural light instead. Often, inside lighting causes one too look washed out and then apply too much make-up. To avoid looking like a clown in pictures, make sure you put on your make-up under the most natural lighting possible.

 

• Adding Definition to Your FaceEspecially when being photographed, it is important to add as much definition to your facial features as possible. Using a darkly hued eyeliner (black is best) and mascara will make your eyes pop while well-blended blush and a natural lipstick provides contrast—putting your best face forward!

 

• Whiten Your EyesLast but not least, don’t forget to use eye drops to eliminate any red lines evident in your eyes. Bloodshot eyes can easily ruin a good wedding picture—or any other photo for that matter! If you’re trying to make your eyes look bigger and clearer, try putting a little white shadow on the inside corners of both eyes. The effect will have stunning results!
